C4C News - Appointment of New Chief Financial Officer



Capital for Change (C4C) is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Richard McGeary as our Chief Financial Officer. Following an extensive nationwide search, Mr. McGeary emerged as the standout choice, thanks to his exceptional leadership and a proven track record of success. His financial acumen and deep commitment to community service align seamlessly with our mission and values. He officially assumed his role on December 5th.  

 

C4C plays a pivotal role in promoting economic development across the state. We provide access to capital, loan servicing, and technical assistance targeted to low- and middle-income communities, fostering economic empowerment and revitalization. Our work extends into various sectors, including affordable housing, energy, small business lending, and community development projects.

 

Mr. McGeary's financial expertise centers on profitability and the integration of strategy, execution, accountability, and leadership. With a career spanning aviation, software development, healthcare, and communications technology, he brings a wealth of experience to our organization. Currently, he serves as Chairman of Capital Workforce Partners and is an Executive in Residence with Connecticut Innovations.

 

With over two decades of experience leading finance and business development teams, launching innovative products, achieving critical business milestones, and nurturing emerging leaders, Mr. McGeary brings strategic executive leadership to his role.

 

In addition to his professional accomplishments, @Mr. McGeary is deeply committed to community service. He previously served as President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity in Connecticut and has been actively involved in various regional and national boards. In the nonprofit sector, he plays a pivotal role with Capital Workforce Partners and serves as a Trustee (former Vice-Chairman) of the Greater Hartford YMCA and as a board member of Greater Bristol Homes (GBH).
